Its has heavily Central Asian influence in Punjabi while it has South Asian culture. Punjab are only one that have link with Central Asian in South Asia due border to Kashmir and Afghani (K.Pashtunkhwa). Punjabi folks believed to have high Aryan genetic which is makes Punjabi have more Caucasoid skull though they have mainly brownish skinned or tanned, but they are fairer then rest of India. (Kashmiri is not consider to be Indian).

Punjab is now found in Northern India and Pakistan, Jatt and Khatri are mainly clans and most popular Punjabi Clans. They speak Punjabi language. Most of Bollywood actors/actresses are ethnic Punjabi which are Kapoor, Roshan, Deol and Dutt.
